Richard Baker and Sue Heeley formed Bradley Chilvers & Co (Accountants) Ltd in 2004 and the business has grown increasingly each year. Our joint skills and experience enable us to provide a commendable service, as the business has grown we now employ experienced staff.

We offer a professional service along with value for money, from a more personalized and informal accountancy practice, we pride ourselves on providing a very high standard of professionalism and care. While we have room for growth as a business, we do not wish to lose the personal touch. Bigger does not necessarily mean better, and we attempt to give an efficient, personal service for every size of client.

Because it is our business and our livelihood, we make sure we do all that we can to provide a service that you are satisfied with – we endeavour to keep all of our clients happy!

Richard Baker BSc (Hons) FCCA

Director

I am a fully qualified FCCA Chartered Certified Accountant qualifying in 2004 and have previously worked as a senior accountant at a firm of chartered accountants prior to setting up my own practice. I also worked for many years in senior management in the private sector, so have broad experience and knowledge within the business world including handling multi million pound budgets. I have been a panel member of the ACCA since 2009 and take an active involvement in ACCA events and current affairs.

Sue Baker

Director

I was a payroll manager at a firm of chartered accountants in Birmingham City Centre for 5 years. I then had a senior management role for 16 years and dealt with payroll for over 100 staff, budgets and finance for a company with a million pound turnover. I am the Payroll Manager and also deal with the administrative side of the business.

Elaine Grogan

Vat Manager

I worked in large accounts department for 19 years dealing with sales & purchase ledgers, before I moved to the firm of chartered accountants where Richard was working. I was there for 7 years as a Book Keeping Supervisor, dealing with over 150 clients processing their book keeping, VAT Returns and payroll. I then joined Richard & Sue at Bradley Chilvers in 2009.

I have been working in practice since 2012 and qualified in 2015, I oversee the accounts and compliance work within the company. I currently specialise in the tax capacity and I am a chartered tax adviser, I advise on tax planning, inheritance tax, foreign issues and owner managed businesses.
